Bacteria in wastewater samples were identified by genomic DNA extraction with a nucleic acid extraction kit GF-1 (Vivantis, GF-1 Bacterial DNA Extraction Kit) by a group of researchers from Thailand involved in the isolation of proteolytic, lipolytic, and bioemulsifying bacteria for improvement of the aerobic treatment of poultry processing wastewater.
