ViPrimePLUS Veterinary Rotavirus A RT-qPCR Kit
Introduction
ViPrimePLUS Veterinary Rotavirus A RT-qPCR Kit has designed to have very high homology with all reference data within the NCBI database. The kit has the broadest detection profile and detects all clinically relevant strains. The kit detects the Rotavirus A in the following hosts: porcine, bovine, feline, canine, equine, canine, ovine, murine and lapine. However, due to a high level of variation, the primers will not detect Rotavirus A in avian hosts. Due to extreme homology, the kit may also detect Rotavirus A in humans.
Sensitivity & specificity
The detection limit is tested to have at least 100 copies per reaction. The primers and probe are 100% specific.
