ViPrimePLUS Staphylococcus SPP qPCR Kit
Introduction
ViPrimePLUS Staphylococcus SPP qPCR Kit has designed to have very high homology with all reference data within the NCBI database. The kit has the broadest detection profile and detects all clinically relevant strains. The kit detects the Staphylococcus species; Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus cohnii, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphylococcus haemolyticus, Staphylococcus lugdunensis, Staphylococcus saprophyticus, and Staphylococcus simulans. Due to extreme homology it will also detect Mammaliicoccus lentus, Mammaliicoccus stepanovicii, and Mammaliicoccus fleurettii which were formerly classified as Staphylococci, as well as Turicibacter bilis, Turicibacter sanguinis, Gemella haemolysans, and Gemella sanguinis.
Sensitivity & specificity
The detection limit is tested to have at least 100 copies per reaction. The primers and probe are 100% specific.
