ViPrimePLUS Prevotella SPP qPCR Kit
Introduction
ViPrimePLUS Prevotella SPP qPCR Kit has designed to have very high homology with all reference data within the NCBI database. The kit has the broadest detection profile and detects all clinically relevant strains. The kit detects the Prevotella species; Prevotella bivia, Prevotella denticola, Prevotella fusca, Prevotella histicola, Prevotella intermedia, Prevotella jejuni, Prevotella melaninogenica, Prevotella multiformis, Prevotella nigrescens, Prevotella scopos and Prevotella veroralis. Due to reclassification of some Prevotella species, the assay may also detect the following species: Hoylesella buccalis, Hoylesella enoeca, Hoylesella loescheii, Segatella copri, Segatella hominis, Segatella oris, Xylanibacter ruminicola
Sensitivity & specificity
The detection limit is tested to have at least 100 copies per reaction. The primers and probe are 100% specific.
