ViPrimePLUS Neisseria SPP qPCR Kit
Introduction
ViPrimePLUS Neisseria SPP qPCR Kit has designed to have very high homology with all reference data within the NCBI Neisseria SPP Primers and Probe Mix (gene PPM – FAM probe) database. The kit has the broadest detection profile and detects all clinically relevant strains. The kit detects the Neisseria species: Neisseria cinerea, Neisseria elongata, Neisseria flavescens, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Neisseria lactamica, Neisseria macacae, Neisseria meningitidis, Neisseria mucosa, Neisseria perflava, Neisseria polysaccharea, Neisseria sicca, Neisseria subflava. However, due to extreme homology it is possible that the kit may also detect some strains of Morococcus cerebrosus.
Sensitivity & specificity
The detection limit is tested to have at least 100 copies per reaction. The primers and probe are 100% specific.
