ViPrimePLUS Mycobacterium Avium Complex qPCR Kit
Introduction
ViPrimePLUS Mycobacterium Avium Complex qPCR Kit has designed to have very high homology with all reference data within the NCBI database. The kit has the broadest detection profile and detects all clinically relevant strains. The kit detects the Mycobacterium species: Mycobacterium avium (including subsp. avium, hominissuis, and paratuberculosis), Mycobacterium colombiense, Mycobacterium intracellulare (including subsp. chimaera, intracellulare, and yongonense),
Mycobacterium mantenii, Mycobacterium marseillense, and Mycobacterium paraintracellulare. However due to extreme homology, it is possible that the kit may also detect Mycobacterium scrofulaceum.
Sensitivity & specificity
The detection limit is tested to have at least 100 copies per reaction. The primers and probe are 100% specific.
