ViPrimePLUS Escherichia coli qPCR Kit
Introduction
ViPrimePLUS Escherichia coli qPCR Kit has designed to have very high homology with all reference data within the NCBI database. The kit has the broadest detection profile and detects all clinically relevant strains. The kit detects Escherichia coli. Due to extreme homology, the kit may also detect the following species: Buttiauxella agrestis, Citrobacter youngae, Enterobacter asburiae, Enterobacter roggenkampii, Enterobacter soli, Escherichia fergusonii, Escherichia marmotae, Escherichia ruysiae, Kluyvera georgiana, Obesumbacterium proteus, Phytobacter diazotrophicus,
Salmonella bongori, Salmonella enterica, Shigella dysenteriae, Shigella flexneri, Shigella sonnei, Shigella boydii and Trabulsiella odontotermitis.
Sensitivity & specificity
The detection limit is tested to have at least 100 copies per reaction. The primers and probe are 100% specific.
