ViPrimePLUS Corynebacterium Diphtheria Toxin - Subunit B qPCR Test Kit
Introduction
ViPrimePLUS Corynebacterium Diphtheria Toxin - Subunit B qPCR Kit has designed to have very high homology with all reference data within the NCBI database. The kit has the broadest detection profile and detects all clinically relevant strains. The primers will detect subunit B of the diphtheria toxin gene in Corynebacterium diphtheria, but may also detect subunit B of the diphtheria toxin gene in some strains of Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis, Corynebacterium silvaticum, and Corynebacterium ulcerans due to phage-mediated transfer of the diphtheria toxin gene.
Sensitivity & specificity
The detection limit is tested to have at least 100 copies per reaction. The primers and probe are 100% specific.
