DNA from all Acinebacter isolates was being extracted with GF-1 Bacterial DNA Extraction Kit by a research group from Egypt to explore the role of pmrCAB genes in colistin-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii. After PCR, the amplified PCR products are run in the agarose gel electrophoresis with a Vivantis 50bp DNA ladder prior the viewing under ultra-violet (UV) transilluminator.
