In a study of investigation of metacercarial infections in the wrestling halfbeak, Dermogenys pusilla, collect­ed from Bangkok metropolitan region of Thailand, the genomic DNAs of metacercarial samples were extracted using GF-1 Tissue DNA Extraction Kit by the research group. Taq DNA polymerase from Vivantis was used in the PCR reactions with PCR buffer, MgCl₂, dNTP and primer.
