Vivantis was honored to be invited by Foon Yew High School, Johor, Malaysia to organize a molecular biology training workshop for senior high school students on 19 and 20 December 2016.
During the two-day-training, a group of 50 students were trained to learn the practical skills and procedures in Total RNA Extraction and Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR).
At the end of the workshop, students will be able to:
- Gain exposure to molecular biology laboratory skills
- Access fundamental understanding on principles, techniques and application of total RNA extraction and RT-PCR
- Cultivate interest in molecular biology research work
"At Vivantis, we are not only providing research tools in life science, but also educating and cultivate interest among future generation and young scientists in accelerating research work flow,” said Lab Manager of Vivantis.
