Description
The ViPrimePLUS Rickettsia qPCR Kit is a Taqman probe-based real-time PCR assay for the detection of all the Rickettsia species genomes in clinical samples, food samples or water samples.
Rickettsiae are heterogeneous group of zoonotic Gram negative bacteria that causes diverse types of diseases which include spotted fever, rickettsialpox and murine typhus. Organisms known to be susceptible for this pathogen range from tick, lice, flea, mite, chigger, and even mammal.
